We have renewed our liability insurance which covers us from 04/08/25 > 03/08/26.

The school insist we must have this to retain our booking. It also is neccessary to gain HFA Accredation as a non-playing club, which provides us with an off-peak booking rate saving £8 per week from June > end of Aug. So it does pay for itself.

I shopped around this year as the existing provider (insure 4 sport) hiked their renewal price from ~ £30 to £60. 

After some quotes for £250 + I managed to use a new email address and insure 4 sport came back in @ £43 ✅

School Management have asked me to inform you a defibrillator has been installed at The Hereford Academy should you need to use it whilst you are here for your lettings.

It is located in a yellow box in the rear entrance porch of the school. The code for the defib box is C159X and the handle needs to be pressed to open the box and access the defib. Please be discrete with the code, but to share it as necessary for the safety of your staff and club members.

Should you forget the code in the emergency, the code is up on the back wall in the caretaker’s room, large and visible through the window.

We hope you never need to use it. However, if you do, no training is necessary and the system will talk you through what you need to do. It will not work if a heart-beat is detected and so will not shock someone unless it is necessary. Do not be afraid to use it if required, someone’s life will be depending on it.
